We have taken an inflatable Flamingo image, created an overlapping sea of pink fun then UV printed the design onto wood and laser cut each item out. We call this Flamingo fun! The pin you receive will be one cut from the board.
You can attach a pin to ANY fabric because each pack includes 1 cutout shape + 2 pins. The wooden pin is for your knitted items, and the metal pin is for finer fabrics. Get creative and add a pin to your scarf, jumper, jacket or even your hat.
Keep in mind this fun Flamingo has long skinny legs (who wouldn’t love that!) and this item can be fragile. Treat her carefully & enjoy the pink Flamingo bling.
Each and every pin is made by us! We hand paint large boards with colourful backgrounds, then laser cut the shapes.
Judy paints A4 boards then laser cuts the Animal Pins. Each board cuts approx 6-10 shapes. The Pin you receive will be ONE OF the pins cut from the same board. The main photo you see gives you the colour & essence of the pins and if you like this one, you will love to open your package and see which one you receive.
Each ‘Scarf Pin’ comes with 3 components; the laser cut shape, one metal pin AND one wooden pin.
The Metal Pin is to use with finer fabrics. Judy will match an appropriate metal pin from a selection.
Trust Judy to choose something that works (another little surprise when you open your parcel, how exciting).
The wooden pin is to use with woollen and they range from 11-13cm. Use these for wide weave style scarfs and jumpers.
Judy will again match an appropriate wooden pin for your item.
The metal pin is to use with finer fabrics. Great for lighter scarfs jumpers & jackets.
To attach the pin use the same method for the wooden or metal pins. You push the fabric through the hole & thread the pin through.
Scarf Pins are not just for scarfs. Get creative and add a splash of
colour to many items including your scarf, jacket, jumper hat or more.
We take great care photographing each ring to show the true colours, but
please be aware colour may slightly differ in real life.

How are they made? Watch our videos here and see the magic happen. Judy paints (she’s the creative genius behind the whole operation). Ric laser cuts. We have 2 amazing staff who pack orders, laser cut & so much more.
Where are we located? We live and work in the beautiful country town of Beechworth in Victoria’s North East. Great part of the world!
Where are the products made? We make everything in Beechworth. It’s a warehouse building we have on our property that we have used for 30 years as a pottery studio (our past career) and now it’s where our laser cutters are, the painting & packing area
What are they made from? We use ply, MDF, acrylic, acrylic paint, E6000 glue creativity and a lot of love. We also use a series of beautiful wood veneer boards for the wood items. These include Tassie Oak, Myrtle and more.
What size are items? We try to add all the exact sizing for each product, but sometimes we are human and forget to add it. You are always welcome to email us for an exact size of an item, but generally we keep the products about the same size. Here’s a guide:
- Scarf Pins / Hair Pins – approx. 9-10cm diameter
- Glasses Brooches – approx. 6cm diameter
- Scarf Rings / Sarong Buckles – approx. 9-10cm diameter
- Serviette Rings - 8cm diameter
- Buttons - approx. 5-6cm diameter
Sizing may vary if Judy feels like an item feels nicer slightly smaller or larger. She has a good eye for this & makes lots of prototypes to get each shape feeling ‘right’. If you have a specific item you want an exact size please email us scarfpinsandrings@gmail.com

Shipping: We like to keep things simple. We have a flat fee of $9.95 for almost everything on the website. Some super heavy metal items might be more, but it’s rare. Add items to cart & you will see the shipping fee that applies to the products you’ve chosen. We use Australia Post. We ship to PO Boxes!
